No matter where you come from or where you are in your journey, you are welcome here. Our group brings together people from many backgrounds who support one another through fellowship, laughter, and honest conversations about recovery from alcoholism.
We believe healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time, which is why we live by Rule 62: don’t take yourself too seriously. We currently gather on Zoom twice weekly at 7 PM EST (USA), and new faces are always encouraged to join.
Our group is rooted in the principles and traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous, while also recognizing that real-life challenges and outside issues can play an important role in recovery discussions. For this reason this group does allow the discussion of outside issues when related to your recovery.
We are an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, which means anyone is welcome to attend, including students. During the meeting, we kindly ask that only those with a desire to stop drinking share their experiences. If you have any questions about the meeting, please feel free to contact us here.
We meet on the last Tuesday of the month at 8:00 PM EST (USA) to discuss important topics related to our group conscience, which is open to all members. To become a member of AA Booze Clues, simply attend one meeting and declare yourself a member—it’s that easy!
During the group conscience, we talk about recommendations for changes to the meeting, service opportunities, and new and old business, and we vote on proposed changes as a group.
Motions must be submitted by midnight EST on the second Tuesday of each month to be added to the agenda of the next group conscience meeting.
Regardless of your path or reason for coming to Alcoholics Anonymous, we’re glad you’re here and welcome you to stay. Please note: this group does not offer manual verification. To receive verification, click the following link:
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self- supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
